JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for overseeing various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently, and providing support to both staff and visitors.

Experience:

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES

  • Support with room set-ups for meetings or events.
  • Support the Guest Relations Officer with visitor experience when required.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas, including offices, restrooms, communal spaces, canteens and guest areas.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal.
  • Restock hygiene supplies, including hand sanitisers, toilet paper, and soap.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained, regularly restocked and stored safely.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant team.
  • Monitor and report any health and safety hazards.
  • Ensure storage areas and supply rooms are organised and stocked.
  • Assist in setting up refreshments and ensuring communal areas are presentable.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a high standard of customer service..
  • Follow the GM House cleaning guidelines and etiquette daily.
