JOB TITLE: FACILITIES OPERATIVE

Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Hours: Monday – Friday between 7:00am – 6:00pm (40 hours per week)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Operative to ensure our site remains safe, efficient, and well-maintained. Working closely with the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and site upkeep to support our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs across the site, including plumbing and electrical systems .
- Assist with routine inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Support the Lead Engineer in implementing maintenance schedules and projects
- Ensure the site is clean, safe, and operates smoothly at all times

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in maintenance and repairs, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site maintenance
