Job Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures smooth operation and maintenance of all building systems and critical infrastructure at the Senai manufacturing site. Responsible for ensuring the upkeep and optimal performance of all facility systems and utilities at the manufacturing site, including chillers, air compressors, RO water systems, HVAC, lighting, cranes, and fire protection systems, in compliance with ISO standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, and building services. Support utilities management including power distribution, chilled water systems, and fire protection systems. Assist in installation and commissioning of facility-related equipment for new production lines. Monitor and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards for facilities operations. Maintain accurate records in CMMS for work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history. Coordinate with DOE-licensed vendors for scheduled waste disposal and environmental compliance. Respond to emergency breakdowns and implement corrective actions promptly. Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs at the site. Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and participate in safety audits. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and building utilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and SOPs. Familiarity with CMMS and ISO compliance requirements. Certifications: Chargeman AO/B0 preferred; other relevant certifications in safety or energy management are an advantage. Competency: Detail-oriented with strong safety awareness. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work on-call during emergencies. Preferred Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting. Familiar with ISO standards and able to support compliance and audit processes. Able to understand and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Experience using digital reporting tools or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and generating reports.
