Description
Responsible for developing and driving an efficient strategic plan for Facilities Systems capacities. Collaborate with partners on the design and coordination of projects. Prepare project scope and ensures vital guidance from appropriate collaborators. Ensure that scope meets requestor needs and collaborate with consultant resources to identify areas of improvement. Provide support for cost and schedule estimates and justification for approval. Work with appropriate personnel to address problems or make corrections. Support equipment startup and commissioning. Analyze systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings. Assist in providing metrics for cost, capacity, performance reports, and trending and forecasting with comparisons to recognized industry standards. Build and maintain models of planned or forecasted increases in system capacities, end of life replacements and space increases or modifications. Provide consultation and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing and other department/sites. Provide engineering support for mid to long term infrastructure planning for facilities. Work with Manufacturing on excursion root cause identification, elimination, and prevention. Ensure safety is considered in all aspects of design, enhancement, modification and process. Participate in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately. Build and maintain relationships across departments to align goals and ensure seamless collaboration. Responsible for strategic planning and modeling of system capacities, including infrastructure expansions, end-of-life equipment replacements, and space modifications. Provide engineering support for facilities infrastructure planning to meet mid- and long-term manufacturing needs.
