Description
Project Management: Lead and handle all phases of wafer fab construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion, commission, and handover. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and lead project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions, value engineering, and consistency to financial constraints. Design Oversight: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other collaborators to ensure facility designs meet operational requirements and industry standards. Construction Supervision: Lead all aspects of construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Vendor and Contractor Management: Select, negotiation with, and lead contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services and materials. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities stay in sync with local laws, including environmental and safety standards. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of construction and operational readiness. Collaborator Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all project partners, including senior management, to provide updates and address any issues. Sustainability Initiatives: Integrate balanced practices into the construction process to minimize environmental impact and improve energy efficiency. Regional Project Oversight: Manage construction projects in multiple locations in Taiwan including Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, but not limited to the above. Global Collaboration: Coordinate with global facility, construction, engineering, and planning teams to ensure alignment with international standards and practices. Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, industrial engineering, architecture, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications are preferred. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in construction management. In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and facility requirements. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
