Description THE ORGANIZATION Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 800+ persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California. COMPENSATION The below is dependent upon experience and education. $29.10 - $33.68/hr. Please Note: The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY ACRC is seeking a Facilities Coordinator at the Sacramento office. This position provides confidential office clerical support to the General Services Manager and performs a variety of skilled secretarial and general office duties. Key responsibilities include ensuring a positive experience for staff, clients, and the community, as well as overseeing security access by managing building access cards and security systems. The Facilities Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining ACRC’s phone systems, managing agency-issued cellular phones, and coordinating office furniture and workstation needs. Additional duties include providing administrative support by tracking facility-related issues, collaborating with property management, assisting with equipment inventory, ordering supplies, and training staff on office procedures. Requirements Applicants must be able to type 55 WPM and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; four years of increasingly responsible office clerical experience (Regional Center experience preferred); knowledge of modern office practices and procedures including transcription, business correspondence, and standard office equipment; ability to perform advanced clerical tasks using independent judgment, accuracy, and speed; ability to compile statistical information and make numerical summary reports; experience with public and telephone contacts; ability to prepare accurate final copies from machine transcription or rough draft copy; and good communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must also have experience working with small tools such as screwdrivers and drills and the ability to complete basic building maintenance tasks including hanging up artwork. The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is also necessary. Prior experience communicating with contractors and builders is recommended. Other requirements and qualifications may apply.
