Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Main Location - Oklahoma City, OK 73105 Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Coordinator is primarily dedicated to ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our tiny homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine inspections, conducting repairs, and addressing maintenance requests efficiently, as well as, all campus facility upkeep, as needed. Responsibilities Knowledge: Standard tools, materials, methods, and practices involved in building, maintenance, and repair, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting; safe work practices, estimating materials and labor needs Works under general direction within a framework of established procedures. Performs a wide variety of skilled and semiskilled building maintenance, grounds work and repair work. Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed if necessary Complete general building cleaning and maintenance Help replace, floors, stairs and piping as needed Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and other parts of building Maintain trash and receptacles around facility Judgment and initiative are required in making decisions in accordance with establishment guidelines. Qualifications Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and One (1) year of experience performing building maintenance and repair work. Self-starter with good time management skills Strong communication skills Repairs and maintains machinery, plumbing, physical structure, grounds and electrical wiring and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and building codes, using hand tools and carpenter's, electrician’s, and plumber's tools. Performs routine maintenance on machines. Replaces or repairs machine belts. Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste materials from machines. Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion. Installs electrical equipment and repairs or replaces wiring, fixtures, and bulbs; repairs or replaces brick and plaster walls; paints walls, floors, ceilings, or fixtures. Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other plumbing equipment. Opens clogged drains, repairs various types of furniture, doors, windows, floors, lockers, gates, roofs, and ceilings; builds sheds and other outbuildings. Digs ditches, trenches, and post holes, patches and repairs sidewalks and streets. Maintains grounds and keep them ecstatically clean. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Essential Functions/Physical Requirements Includes bending/carrying/lifting/hand and finger dexterity/kneeling/vision/hearing Sedentary _____ Light ______ Medium ______ Heavy ______ Very Heavy ___X__ Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; light to medium weights up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential including sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions. when working outside you may be exposed to extreme weather conditions such as heat and cold. Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with moderate exposure to safety and health hazards related to exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals, such as alcohol or bleach. No potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Must follow universal safety precautions. Security: Adheres to agency’s confidentiality policies and procedures including HIPPA, Privacy, Corporate Compliance, Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest. Supervision Received: Director of Facilities Management is hired and supervised by the Director of Operations and is an exempt position.
