Job Title: Operations Assistant
Location: London (2 Showrooms + 1 Office)

Type: Full-time, On-site (5 days/week)

As a visible and supportive presence across all locations, the Operations Assistant helps cultivate a thoughtful and welcoming atmosphere. By ensuring spaces are calm, functional, and well-cared for, they directly contribute to a positive, detail-focused workplace culture.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS TO STAFF EXPERIENCE

  • Foster a calm and welcoming atmosphere through lighting, scent, temperature, and overall ambience.
  • Maintain clean and inviting shared areas, including kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives by assisting with the delivery of wellness activities.
  • Act as an on-the-ground resource, helping staff with supplies and minor space needs.
  • Support internal celebrations and meetings by setting up and refreshing shared spaces.
  • Ensure brand consistency in presentation—from reception to meeting rooms.
  • Keep shared and guest-facing spaces ready by resetting them throughout the day.
  • Propose experience improvements based on daily observations and team feedback.

KEY ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in facilities, site support, or similar operational roles.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Friendly and confident communicator across all levels.
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks (manual handling training provided).
  • Reliable, punctual, and takes full ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

The Operations Assistant is responsible for the daily operational management of two London showrooms and one office. This hands-on role ensures all environments are clean, functional, and beautifully presented. The position requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing day-to-day site needs.
Working closely with the Facilities Manager and Head of Creative Spaces, the Operations Assistant oversees site logistics, maintenance coordination, and supplier relationships. As a key on-site contact, they support the smooth delivery of meetings and contribute significantly to the overall staff experience and company culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open and close showroom spaces daily; ensure readiness for staff and visitors.
  • Maintain visual and cleanliness standards across all areas.
  • Coordinate with cleaners to address specific tasks (e.g., glass, high-traffic zones).
  • Prepare meeting rooms and communal spaces; reset as needed throughout the day.
  • Encourage staff to uphold presentation standards.
