Description We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Facilities Day Porter to join our facilities team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of our building throughout the workday. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, friendly, and comfortable working in a professional corporate environment with high standards. Key Responsibilities Daily Cleaning & General Upkeep Maintain outdoor patio setup and takedown, including umbrellas, furniture, sweeping/mopping floors, and removing bird droppings. Report any damage or malfunctioning equipment. Clean and reset break areas and kitchens at least three times daily: Wipe down surfaces Manage dishes Restock food, beverages, and supplies Empty trash and recycling Restock and clean men's and women's restrooms twice daily, including: Cleaning fixtures and countertops Floor patrol for paper/trash Refilling feminine products Reporting any issues Constantly monitor lobbies, common areas, and patio dining areas to maintain cleanliness. Clean spills Spot mop Remove fingerprints from glass and metal surfaces at least three times daily. Empty and wipe down trash containers Clean interior glass (doors, offices, conference rooms). Remove cobwebs from entryways, lights, railings, furniture, and signage. Dust and clean walls, doors, and remove scuff marks daily. Wipe down surfaces in unoccupied phone rooms and meeting rooms. Spot-clean carpet stains and remove floor scuffs. Replace accessible light bulbs using client stock, and report inaccessible outages. Maintain communication regarding stock levels. Maintain outdoor upper-level patio (5th floor), ensuring surfaces and furniture remain clean and free from bird droppings. Additional Duties Spot-clean lighting fixtures Plunging toilets Replace ceiling tiles Light furniture and equipment moving Hang or remove signage Organize and maintain storage areas Facilities Inspection Conduct a weekly facilities inspection, documenting condition and identifying needed repairs. Submit inspection report to leadership. Coordinate access and scheduling with third-party vendors for work requiring outside contractor support (with prior approval). Vendor Coordination Schedule, escort, and coordinate third-party vendors performing work inside the facility. Ensure vendors follow site rules, security standards, and safety protocols.
