Description The Facilities Director at YMCA Camp Classen is a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing all maintenance, custodial, groundskeeping, and property management operations. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position ensures that the physical facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the camp’s mission of putting Christian principles into practice through programs that foster a healthy mind, body, and spirit for all. The Facilities Director must thrive in a fast-paced team environment and work collaboratively across departments to ensure safety, operational efficiency, and a welcoming environment for all campers and staff. Requirements Lead and manage personnel in maintenance and custodial departments to ensure effective, timely, and quality service. Oversee groundskeeping, HVAC systems, electrical, equipment, fleet management, and property management operations. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to enhance equipment longevity and operational efficiency. Collaborate with the Vice President of Property at YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City on capital budgets, capital projects, and long-term property planning. Manage and develop departmental budgets, including monitoring expenses and forecasting future needs. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts. Review and recommend budget needs and oversee expenditures related to facilities management. Utilize computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, accounting software, and Paylocity for reporting, communication, and administrative purposes. Coordinate emergency response plans for facility issues and safety concerns. Promote a safety-first culture among staff and campers to ensure a secure environment. Support the camp’s mission and core values by fostering a team-oriented and mission-driven work environment.
