We have an opportunity for a Facilities Engineer to support our team in Munich. We have an opportunity for a Facilities Engineer to support our team in Munich. DESCRIPTION As a Facilities Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our Munich operations, responsible for the technical integrity and smooth functioning of our facilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience in managing technical lab infrastructure and the technical aspects of facilities, or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant expertise. A strong understanding of the German market, including familiarity with local regulations, vendors, and best practices. Proven experience leading external technical resources, ensuring technical requirements are met on time and within budget. Experience handling small-scale refurbishment and fit-out projects. Solid understanding of real estate and facility administration principles, including budgeting, contract management, and space planning. Fluency in both German and English (written and verbal) is essential. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders, negotiate with vendors, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in maintaining critical infrastructure - operating 24/7 Proficiency in iOS/MacOS environment and MS Office suite. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive end-user experience. This includes proactively identifying and addressing employee needs and ensuring a comfortable and productive work environment. Proactively identifies and solves problems, and collaborates effectively within a team environment.
