Description

Responsible for facilities maintenance of equipment in Costa Rica site.
Ensure smooth operation of facilities and building systems in manufacturing plan including but not limited to process water system, HVAC system, clean room support, incoming power, water supply, air compressed system, building maintenance, fire protection system, sanitary system and janitorial service.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • University degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineer or other relevant fields.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Competency in project management.
  • Experience with Local Building Codes
  • Ability to communicate well, both orally and written in English & Spanish.
  • Creative individual who is able to communicate and coordinate good ideas through to implementation.
  • In-depth understanding of equipment, mechanics and application.
  • Thorough understanding of medical device manufacturing, especially as it relates to FDA (GMP) manufacturing requirements
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of quality systems.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 or 2 years of experience as Facilities Engineer in a medical device manufacturing environment, will be a plus in medical company.

EDUCATION:

University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineer or related field.
