Job Description Job Description The Graduate Engineer is expected to support the department’s daily operations, maintenance, and improvement activities while developing technical competency, problem-solving skills, and professional work ethics. This role is designed for fresh graduates with the right mindset, strong learning attitude, and willingness to contribute as a team player. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support daily operation and maintenance activities of engineering / facilities systems under guidance of senior engineers and supervisors. Assist in Preventive, Corrective, and Predictive Maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and availability. Participate in troubleshooting, breakdown analysis, and basic root cause analysis (RCA). Assist in monitoring system performance, collecting data, and preparing basic reports. Support implementation of continuous improvement, safety, and cost-saving initiatives. Assist in coordinating with technicians, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOP), and IMS requirements. Learn and follow engineering standards, statutory requirements, and best practices. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor as part of learning and development. Qualifications REQUIRED: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in any Engineering field or equivalent. SKILLS: Strong willingness to learn and accept guidance, feedback, and coaching. Positive, proactive, and responsible attitude toward work and challenges. Hands-on mentality – not afraid to go to site, observe, ask questions, and get involved. Ownership mindset – treats assigned tasks seriously and follows through to completion. Safety-first mindset in all activities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Open-minded, adaptable, and resilient in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
