  • Relevant Degree in Construction/Engineering Management
  • A Background in Facilities Management, ideally in a multi-site or public sector environment.
  • Strong understanding and experience in Hard Services delivery (M&E, compliance, maintenance)
  • CITB Site Safety Supervisor
  • Maintain knowledge of UK Building Regulations and competencies within own trade set.
  • Experiencing in planning, organising, and coordinating resources, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships in complex and environments
  • Adept at analysing complex situations, identifying problems, and proposing effective solutions
  • Strong customer service skills, empathy, communication and product knowledge
  • Member of the Institute of Work and Facilities Management or equivalent

ABOUT THE ROLE

Lockheed Martin UK Ltd Integrated Systems (LMUK IS) is a leading prime contractor and systems integrator responsible for a wide portfolio of high technology programmes, complex integration, training, and through-life support sustainment activities, spanning the defence and civil sectors for global security and national critical infrastructure. The Facilities Engineering Lead role will report directly to the Head of Service Integration and Delivery and will provide support to the Service Delivery Manager Facilities Management providing a vital interface between the LMUK sustainment organisation 3rd part subcontractors and relevant programmes ensuring efficient workflow and enduring relationships.
The Facilities Engineering Lead will support the delivery of Facilities Management activities via the 3rd part subcontractor, safeguarding alignment with contractual obligations and customer satisfaction. whilst continuing the execution of day to day deliverables to cost, schedule and technical requirements, in line with SLAs (service level agreements) and KPI (key performance indicators).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the agreed FM activities to relevant programmes, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services from the 3rd party sub-contractor
  • Monitor and create management information focusing on pre-planned maintenance (PPM) tasks and reactive actives ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Support the delivery of requests for minor new works
  • Proactively monitor statutory compliance, health & safety documentation, and service records
  • Aid in the planning and design activities for the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures.
  • Inspects and approves completed works in line with agreed schedule, monitoring progress and ensure conformance to established regulations drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Develop processes and procedures in line with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and implement solutions to enhance service delivery.
  • Attend regular service reviews with clients and internal teams, recommending improvements.
  • Support service transitions, ensuring smooth handover and minimal disruption to our customers.
  • Support the identification and mitigation of risks and opportunities related to service delivery, contingency plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and best practices.
