Operations & Maintenance Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operations of plant utilities and facilities to ensure effective and efficient performance with minimal downtime. Plan, implement, and evaluate preventive maintenance programs for: Air-conditioning systems, Air compressors, Passenger lifts & electric hoist, Fire-fighting system, Water pump system, PABX system, Lightning protection system, Waste disposal, Building maintenance. Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and in good working condition. 2. Budgeting & Performance Management Plan, implement, and review operational and capital expenditure budgets for the utility section; discuss with Complex Engineering Manager for yearly approval. Set department targets and key performance indicators (KPIs); monitor progress and take necessary follow-up actions in alignment with departmental goals. 3. Compliance, Certification & Regulatory Requirements Lead and supervise scheduled inspections and testing of standby generators, fire pumps, sump pumps, and ensure reports are updated weekly/monthly. Oversee the preparation and submission for Certification of Fitness (CF) with DOSH for: Steam Boilers (PMD) Hoisting Equipment (PMA) Lifting Equipment (PMA) Pressure Vessels (PMT) Liaise closely with Safety & Health Officer (SHO). Lead and coordinate Bomba certification activities with appointed contractors and the SHO. 4. Safety, 5S & Work Practices Promote and enforce safe work procedures to ensure full adherence to safety regulations and the use of appropriate PPE. Lead, educate, and maintain 5S housekeeping standards for workshops, tools, equipment, and relevant areas. 5. Project & Continuous Improvement Plan, execute, and evaluate utility-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving programs related to utilities and electrical maintenance. 6. Reporting & Documentation Prepare monthly reports covering (Utility usage, Ongoing projects, Capital expenditure, Service vendor/contractor performance) Submit monthly preventive maintenance reports on utility and facility equipment. Review and acknowledge monthly utility bills (electricity, water, fuel). Assign team members for meter readings and ensure abnormalities or defects are reported promptly. 7. Other Responsibilities Carry out any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Management relating to engineering and maintenance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ mechatronic/ Facilities/ Building Services Engineering or related. Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in facilities maintenance or plant engineering, prefer in manufacturing or FMCG industry.
