Our client URGENTLY requires Facilities Engineer for 8 to 10 weeks+ Contracts in Canberra. The Facilities Engineer will support Air Force Headquarters capability transition, through defining concepts, requirements and actions that integrate Facilities and Training Areas Fundamental Input. You will work under limited direction to investigate and develop high level facilities concepts, requirements and support options for integration within air base and training areas infrastructure to conduct effective air operations. You will liaise with stakeholders of all levels, building good working relationships and providing a point of contact for enquiries. Skills and Experience required includes: Identification and interpretation of relevant legislation, policies, strategies, business and team requirements, applying these to the work task Engage, negotiate and work collaboratively through active engagement with stakeholders, to build and sustain effective relationships that identify, minimise or eliminate capability risks, or to resolve complex issues to achieve the business outcome. Strong Defence Writing skills with high level of interpersonal skills and stakeholder management. Have the ability to travel to Air Force sites within Australia.
