Job Title: Facilities Engineer / Specialist III
Pay Rate: $106.00/hour
Location: Midland, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday (5/2 Schedule), 50 hours per week

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer / Specialist III to support oil and gas operations in Midland, TX. This role is instrumental in evaluating and guiding engineering work, ensuring compliance with company specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise along with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and provide feedback on engineering work performed internally and by third parties to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Support and lead safety and risk management processes including HAZOPs, hazard hunts, and critical parameter reviews.
  • Lead incident investigations related to downtime and process safety.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and help develop scopes of work for capital and maintenance projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new and existing facilities, and ensure closure of action items.
  • Lead performance testing and operational trials.
  • Develop and maintain facility operating guidelines.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and technical staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep knowledge of engineering design standards, codes, and safety practices in oil & gas.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and adapt to dynamic priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
