ATI is seeking to hire a Mechanical Engineering Intern in our Facilities Engineering Department for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. This position will be based in Milwaukee, WI and will run from June to August 2026. Relocation and housing assistance is available for the summer. The projects and skills outlined below will be guided and directed by an established ATI-Professional in your field of interest. What You’ll Do * Fix drawings as requested * Pull drawings for verification and work planning * Document as built systems * Input engineering drawings in the file system * redraws from pencil to CAD * Field verifying equipment locations on several prints that are out of date * Complete simple drafting work for old incomplete projects * Work with mechanical designers to detail and install projects * Complete several project requests from the manufacturing areas * Create needed machine specific LOTO instructions * Create spreadsheets to help understand costs and options * Small project and investigation work   Qualifications  Basic Qualifications * Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering * Sophomore standing * 3.0 GPA Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Previous experience using AutoCAD software About Us ATI is one of the largest and most diversified specialty materials and components producers in the world. Responsibilities
The intern will update and document engineering drawings using CAD and verify equipment locations in the field. They will also support mechanical designers with project installation and create machine-specific LOTO instructions.
