We are looking for a enthusiastic and motivated individual who have the relevant skills to join Facilities and become part of the Environmental Co-ordinator Team, in a busy in-patient setting.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
Working as part of the Facilities Services team, the post holder will support the Facilities Management Team and the Clinical Teams and be
responsible for ensuring that the environment. The post holder will have a central base and may have responsibility for community sites
including, hospitals, in-patient areas, day centres, health centres and office areas.
A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to be responsible for ensuring that the site/care setting is clean, tidy, safe, comfortable and maintained to appropriate standards. Supporting the clinical team in the provision of meals for patients. Acting on own initiative, working within the provisions of the Trust Health & Safety Policy, ensuring accurate records are held.
Please note that this post may not meet the pay and skill level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa and also does not appear on the shortage occupation list for healthcare and education. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
