Summary: Performs general maintenance. May have expertise in a trade. Preferred plumbing experience. Essential Duties: Completing preventive maintenance. Keeping all equipment in working order. Responsible for repair or alteration of existing structures. Responsible for completing all repair work. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed): One (1) year previous maintenance experience. Ability to repair machinery. Previous plumbing, electrical and carpentry experience. Physical Requirements: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, knee, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. While performing the duty of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.
Responsibilities
The Facilities Generalist performs general maintenance, including preventive maintenance and the repair or alteration of existing structures. They are responsible for keeping all equipment in working order and completing assigned repair tasks.
