This position is part time.  Monday-Friday 1p-5p. "Ensuring Safety Excellence: In compliance with Washington State's ESSB 5123, we prioritize safety in our workforce by conducting controlled substance testing, including marijuana, for this position, which is deemed safety-sensitive.” Position Summary: The Housing Janitor position entails meticulous upkeep and organization of designated areas, showcasing a consistent commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Strive to foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and support that extends beyond our walls.   * Maintains open and effective communication channels with team members. * Stays open, curious, and flexible to suspend judgments and evaluations when considering what others offer.     RESPONSIBLITIES   • Perform sweeping, garbage collection, and disposal, clean main doors and windows, vacuum entryways, wipe down walls, mop floors, and disinfect water fountains. • Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning toilets inside and out, replenishing toilet paper, maintaining sanitary containers, cleaning floor edges and areas around toilets, sanitizing sinks, and restocking hand soap. • Adhere to protocols for the safe usage of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures. • Report significant repairs and enhancements required for building systems promptly to maintenance personnel. • Request necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks. • Inform the manager about any issues, repairs, or concerns arising in the facilities.     QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: * High School Diploma or GED required   Experience: * Six months commercial/residential janitorial experience    Licenses/Certificates/Registration:   * Valid drivers license and insurance with 3 years licensed driving experience      WORKING CONDITIONS   1. This position requires standing, walking, and bending for long periods.  7.
