Description SUMMARY The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for performing various repairs, renovations, and maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of bank-owned or leased facilities. Key responsibilities may include preparing/reviewing job estimates, performing and/or overseeing general/routine maintenance and repairs for equipment, facilities and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. This role requires providing exemplary customer service and assisting with general maintenance functions. The position requires flexibility in travel and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Additionally, delivery of documents, packages and other items to various locations as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. § Provide exemplary customer service (internal and external). § Perform various repairs/renovations/remodeling to correct building deficiencies and/or improve customer service efficiency. § Performs routine/general repairs and preventive maintenance tasks that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, plumbing, lighting, electrical wiring, HVAC systems and repairing doors and other building fixtures at all assigned bank-owned or leased facilities. § Assist with other general maintenance functions including seasonal maintenance tasks (e.g., snow removal and lawn care). § Manages seasonal contracts and planning with contractors for lawn care and snow removal at all branches and company properties. § Assist with testing of emergency generators, when applicable. § Complete facilities inspection report to assist in the assessment of deficiencies and plans for corrective action. § Maintain proficient knowledge of and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position. § Drafts and implements routine maintenance schedules and standards; ensures compliance. § Collaborates regularly with the IT Manager to identify renovation or construction needs, project bids, and budget items. § Reviews job estimates and bids for projects to be completed by outside contractors. § Inspects and approves work performed by outside contractors. § Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. § Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. § Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed. § Assists with upkeep of the facilities, and manages contractors § Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. § Delivers documents, inter-office mail/correspondence, packages, and other items to/from assigned offices and establishments as requested. § Travels to assigned office by automobile. § Maintains landscaping at designated locations and/or manages contractors. § Services vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel. § Lift and move heavy objects of up to 50 pounds as required § May have to work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions. Perform additional duties as requested. Requirements § High school diploma. § Two-year college degree in a related field and/or specialized training in a related trade preferred. § General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, masonry, painting, electrical, and carpentry. § Ability to use necessary tools and equipment for each above. § Valid driver's license. § No fear of heights. § Minimum 1 year in facilities maintenance or construction preferred but not required § Experience with multiple facilities preferred. § Experience as a Handyman, Repairman, Repair Technician, or similar preferred
