Description Job Function The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day repair, preventative maintenance, and operational support of all Mira Vista Country Club facilities. This role supports a private club environment requiring a high level of attention to detail, discretion, responsiveness, and technical competency. Duties & Responsibilities • Strive to achieve the MVCC Vision & Mission each day. • Conduct yourself in a manner that represents all MVCC core values. • Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across clubhouse, locker rooms, dining areas, kitchens, pool and aquatics, tennis facilities, offices, and back-of-house areas. • Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, carpentry, drywall, and painting issues. • Assist with pool and aquatics maintenance support and safety checks. • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs. • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as directed. • Maintain professionalism in all member-facing areas. Requirements Knowledge & Abilities • Working knowledge of building systems in hospitality/private club environments. • Proficiency with hand and power tools. • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Sitting: 8 hours Standing: 6 hours Climbing: 2 hours Talking: 2 hours Lifting: 50 lbs Equipment: Hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, pool equipment Education & Experience • High School Diploma or GED preferred • 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred • Hospitality or private club experience strongly preferred Licenses & Other Requirements • Valid driver’s license preferred • Vocational certifications a plus • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call
