Job Details Job Location: Battery Park City - New York, NY Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $52000.00 - $60000.00 Salary/year Job Category: Engineering Description Asphalt Green is looking to hire a skilled Maintenance Associate for our Battery Park City location (212 North End Avenue in Lower Manhattan). The Battery Park City site is 52,000SF and includes two indoor pools, a fitness center, a theater, a teaching kitchen and multiple classrooms. Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience with commercial and/or residential facility spaces and equipment – both on-going maintenance and repairs. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs required. Familiarity with care and running of indoor swimming pools is a big plus. The work schedule is as follows: Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday: Off Wednesday: Off Thursday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Note that unfortunately there is no negotiation on the schedule. Qualifications Experience using commercial building tools, equipment, and adherence to safety protocols. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined/elevated spaces, and remain on feet for extended periods. Proficient in documenting and communicating maintenance activities clearly and accurately. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) is a plus. Willingness to obtain certified pool operator’s license within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

The Facilities Maintenance Associate will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and repairs of the facility, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with the care and operation of indoor swimming pools is a significant advantage.
