Description
VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Facility Maintenance Coordinator to join our AAHA-accredited, 24-hour Emergency, Specialty, and General Practice Hospital. We are a busy 60-doctor teaching hospital just minutes from the beaches of Santa Monica. The Facility Maintenance Associate ensures our 42,000 sq. ft. hospital is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a team player skilled in handling HVAC, electrical, plumbing, emergency generators, and general repairs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining maintenance schedules for equipment, including elevators, HVAC systems, and generators. Responsibilities also include coordinating vendor schedules, obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing projects. The candidate must be flexible, able to work with diverse personalities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
