We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge in industrial maintenance, and a proven track record in facilities management. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees. (HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, water systems), high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, automation, and cleanroom operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • 7-10 years of experience in engineering, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and empower a team of engineers and technicians
  • Experience in managing complex engineering projects from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  • A strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and a commitment to driving innovation
    Exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement engineering strategies and plans to support the company’s objectives, including facility and utility upgrades, new equipment installations
  • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations, and other relevant guidelines
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions
  • Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and maintaining safety programs and procedures
  • Innovation: Encourage and support innovation in engineering practices and technologies
  • Financial Management: Manage the engineering budget, including capital projects and operating expenses
