ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our facility maintenance across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team, based at our Hollybank site in Scropton, Derbyshire.
The role both factory and office based, so you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas. As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer you’ll be working Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING AS A FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEER AT AVARA?

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer you’ll be undertaking general upkeeping of the interior and exterior of the site, helping to ensure facilities are in a good state of repair at all times.

WHAT WILL YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEER INCLUDE?

  • Upkeep and repair of the internal and external building fabric.
  • Auditing and repairs of restrooms, kitchens and office spaces.
  • Planning and prioritising repairs.
  • Where possible identifying root causes and suggesting improvements.
  • Upkeep of the external grounds.
  • Liaising with production, H&S and Engineering teams to identify and rectify issues.
