Description Essential Duties: Repair minor plumbing, electrical, water, security, HVAC, or structural issues Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs Fulfill daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance schedules Assists Supervisors in Conducting fire and safety drills Occasionally work with and lead volunteers on projects around facilities Assist with and fulfill special projects as needed Seasonal ground maintenance as needed Oversight of outside vendors when working in the building Maintain positive relations with vendors Respect confidentiality of Guests served by LifePath Christian Ministries Pick up needed materials from local vendors Promptly respond to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups Ensure cleanliness and safety of all facilities and grounds Other Duties: Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education: Excels in a fast-paced work environment with competing priorities Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively Strong problem-solving skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office 365 environment Ability to safely operate ladders, hand, and power tools Apply critical thinking to resolve issues utilizing on-hand resources, or to be able to identify the needed materials to resolve identified issues Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Other Factors to Consider: Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing 100 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with our insurance provider’s requirements. Possess or have the ability to obtain a DOT physical card. Working Conditions: Inside/Outside environment
