Description The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is critical in supporting the growing team. Their role is focused on being the single point of contact for maintenance issues and directing the 2-shift maintenance team to ensure all equipment in the building, production, and greenhouse facility in support of the production team and plant health. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct leadership of the 2-shift maintenance team, including establishment of goals, ongoing reviews, and merit process. Lead site safety and monthly audit process. Address open EH&S issues. Be the OSHA certified trainer for fork trucks, pallet jacks, and scissor lift. Manage the Preventative Maintenance program to ensure maintenance upkeep and critical spares availability. Oversee system to manage all unplanned issues that arise during the shifts to keep production and greenhouse operational, with communication closure loop. Own the management and execution of the maintenance project list. Utilize 2-shift team to accomplish tasks in a timely fashion. Measure and report out on equipment downtime. Utilize data to address and resolve critical issues and reduce/eliminate ongoing problems. Identify and support Lean Continuous Improvement activities and implementations such as 5S. Work with vendors as necessary for scheduled and unscheduled service Any other jobs as required by the direct supervisor. Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS: Supervisory experience preferred Good work ethic, independently driven Team player to drive a fork truck Standing on feet for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 60lbs Working in both greenhouse and cold storage environments Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
