Description

Recruitment Solutions are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our clients facilities based in Central Oxford OX2. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Maintenance Management, excellent project management skills and someone that can hit the ground running. This role requires effective leadership and the ability to manage a team while ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
This position is a 2-3 month Temporary Contract and looking for someone that can start Immediately.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in Maintenance Management or a similar role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and logic controllers is desirable but not essential .
  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive working environment while managing diverse teams.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and systems.
  • Oversee projects related to facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate schematics and documentation for all facilities-related systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as environmental standards.
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or necessary repairs.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance tasks.
