Responsibilities * Clean and repair common areas of the facility including break rooms, restrooms, stores and warehouse * Repair building fixtures such as lights, doors, floors, ceilings, and more. * Perform electrical troubleshooting on all facility equipment and machinery. * Perform outside grounds upkeep using power tools/equipment * Perform preventive maintenance to ensure building operates efficiently. * Operates a variety of equipment and machines including gas and arc welding, saws, and hand & electric tools, pumps, and compressors. * Drive forklift truck to transport dumpsters * Work with other departments when instructed * Perform other maintenance duties as requested. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities * High School diploma or GED * 1 year of work related experience * Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, and mechanical * Capable of using power tools * Knowledge of hazardous of cleaning chemicals and supplies * Strong work ethics & is a great team player Preferred Qualifications * At least 2 year of related work experience * Experience using dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts. * Previous welding, electrical, and mechanical/hydraulic repair experience * Knowledge of low or line voltage Physical Demands * Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted * Able to climb up and down a ladder as high as 15ft carrying up to 50lbs * Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, sitting, & constant movements of hands to operate tools/machines * Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Work Environment * Work is performed indoors & outdoors with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, and movements of machine/equipment.
