Description Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Non-Exempt – Grade Level 6 Equal Employment Opportunity Corporate Values & Mission “Provide superior service, quality advice and show our utmost respect to everyone we meet.” General Summary Coordinate and complete maintenance at all bank locations within geographical region. Acts as the main liaison between the bank and facilities-related vendors to coordinate and oversee more specialized maintenance and repair. Ensure locations receive preventative maintenance as well as continued improvements. Reports To: VP Facilities Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor and complete work requests submitted by branches. Visit each bank location on a regular schedule during business hours for the purpose of assessing needs through observation and interaction with the staff. Perform routine electrical repairs such as but not limited to fixture replacements, ballast replacements, circuit maintenance, etc. All work to be done to then current code. Perform other routine facilities repairs commensurate to ability and required licensure. Assign and oversee vendors for non-routine facilities repair and maintenance, plumbing, painting, lock smith and snow removal. Make recommendations for vendor contracts to supervisor. Manage special facilities projects as assigned. Make recommendations to supervisor regarding repairs or improvements to all facilities operated by the Bank. Provide requested support for marketing efforts such as community events through delivery, setup, and cleanup. Follow all Bank security procedures relative to alarms and locks both during and after banking hours. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Complete all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer. Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable. Requirements Experience and/or Education High School Diploma or GED Previous semi-skilled work in construction trades and vendor management preferred Knowledge of methods, practices, tools & materials used in building maintenance Knowledge of necessary safety precautions applicable to building maintenance Supervisory Responsibilities May have direct or indirect reporting responsibility for department staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities – assist in training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; handing complaints and resolving problems.
