Main responsibilities: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing and/or overseeing preventive maintenance.   on equipment. Completion of daily Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders, scheduled repair   work orders, unscheduled emergency repairs, and project work associated with the operation of   a production and warehouse facility.  * Ability to plan, organize and coordinate daily activities * Ability to maximize productivity and minimize waste * Willingness to work in a safe manner and promote a safe working environment * Perform all needed maintenance functions in support of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM)   * initiative and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs. * Perform emergency repairs as needed * Perform preventative maintenance task as scheduled * Participate in continuous improvement process * Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance and product support areas  We are looking for candidates who possess the following: * Computer skills (basic computer knowledge) * Working knowledge of PLC controls (helpful, but not required) * Knowledge of electrical systems including 110-480V systems, AC & DC control systems,   * installing, troubleshooting and repair * Working knowledge of hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems * Knowledge of refrigeration systems, with ammonia (preferred by not required) * Welding-TIG, MIG, Stick, etc. Stainless / Sanitary equipment experience (helpful but not   * required) * Ability to read and understand blueprints * Forklift and pallet-jack certification (helpful, but not required) * Knowledge of plant mechanical processes sufficient to analyze performance trends and   * recommend and initiate corrective actions to improve process performance.
