JOIN OUR TEAM AS A FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – BROADSTAIRS (PART-TIME)

Are you a hands-on, practical individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and well-functioning work environment? We’re looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our Broadstairs site.
This part-time role (20 hours per week) is ideal for someone with strong DIY skills, a flexible approach to work, and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be a key part of our operations, helping to ensure our facility remains tidy, safe and in good working order.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the facility infrastructure to provide a safe, clean and secure work environment.
  • General housekeeping – with support of office cleaning contractors.
  • Management and replenishment of relevant consumable stock levels e.g. toiletries and cleaning products.
  • Maintenance of fixtures and fittings e.g. changing light bulbs, painting of walls, minor repairs.
  • Light plumbing e.g. removal of foreign matter from sinks, toilets to clear blockages etc.
  • To ensure that drains, roof gullies etc. are kept free from debris.
  • Responsible for ensuring clear and safe pedestrian access to the site particularly in adverse weather conditions (e.g. gritting).
  • To keep the skip / waste area in tidy condition.
  • To deliver and collect goods from local vicinity as required.
  • Assist with the weekly Fire Alarm test.
  • Ensure that the outside of the facility is always presentable and litter free.
  • Engage with external contractors to site as appropriate.
  • Keep company van clean, tidy and ensure weekly checks are completed.
