Description Delta Fuel is looking to recruit a hardworking, responsible individual to join our team as a general maintenance attendant. This position is responsible for supporting yard, warehouse, and facility activities. This individual will take responsibility of general maintenance of shop and yard premises and general housekeeping duties. This position is diverse, and duties may vary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist properties manager with daily tasks as assigned • Keep warehouse and yard area clean and free of clutter • Assist in loading, unloading and stocking inventory • Participate in safety walks and meetings • Service equipment when required such as, but not limited to, washing, grinding, sanding, and painting Requirements • Valid driver's license • Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks • Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner • Ability to properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) • Ability to meet fitness for duty standards • Ability to operate a forklift and obtain a forklift certification • Knowledge of basic mechanical functions • Good verbal and written communication • Basic problem solving and organizational skills • Can work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to work in fast paced environment, handling multiple tasks at the same time • Ability to work basic hand tools • Ability to adapt with needed priorities • Manage housekeeping activities when assigned • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
