OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing maintenance and repair tasks across various systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing equipment to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in working with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and low voltage systems.
  • Strong experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC systems, boiler operations, and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to read schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with staff and management.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, electrical systems, and other facility infrastructure.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Analyze schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
