JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities/Maintenance Manager to oversee the repair, upkeep, and continuous improvement of our injection molding operations. This position is responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimal downtime, and a safe, well-maintained facility. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, organized, and leadership-driven approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience; prior experience in injection molding preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with Toshiba injection molding machines a plus.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and work alongside team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and preventive maintenance planning.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of injection molding presses, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues efficiently and safely.
  • Develop, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and equipment longevity.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to prioritize maintenance activities and support operational goals.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for parts, repairs, and contracted services.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel in technical skills, safety, and best practices.
  • Ensure facility infrastructure—including HVAC, lighting, compressed air, and safety systems—remains in optimal condition.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability of plant operations.
