We’re seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our Sparks facility operating smoothly. This hands-on role supports our operations and warehouse teams by maintaining and repairing building systems and equipment. Why You’ll Love Working Here Employer-Paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Basic Life 401(k) with Employer Match 20 Days Paid Time Off What You’ll Do Perform routine and preventative maintenance (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing) Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues Conduct inspections and maintain service records Ensure safety compliance and maintain clean, organized workspaces Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and vendor coordination Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to support projects What We’re Looking For Experience in building/facility maintenance (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing) Strong troubleshooting skills and safety mindset Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Professional, courteous, and collaborative attitude Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (safety-sensitive role) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and complex instructions Strong comprehension of written materials (checklists, memos, etc.) Basic math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals) Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions Skilled with hand and power tools Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication (written and verbal) Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams Minimum Qualifications 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred) Hands-on experience with equipment and systems maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical) (3-5 years preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with accommodations or support OSHA-compliant forklift training/certification preferred Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus
