How You’ll Perform the Role
To maintain facility/ building repairs onsite and offsite at the distribution center. Upkeep and repair building interior and exterior systems including plumbing, electrical and heating and cooling. Aide in leading building projects. Maintain the shop parts hub organization, keep all necessary parts, equipment, and supplies available to perform maintenance, repairs and PMs. Daily use of the E-maint CMMS system to keep track of incoming and outgoing parts, aiding the maintenance manager and purchaser in obtaining needed parts to maintain proper stock levels.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform regular repairs to light fixtures, walls, paint, restroom/ building Pm’s and repairs, floor repairs, outside building roof, and ground inspections.
- Maintain the outside gated yard and keep it organized.
- Operate the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to maintain proper parts stock levels.
- Work with purchaser to obtain needed parts to maintain stock levels.
- Rearrange incomplete parts lockers with bins segregating each part with their proper part numbers, inputting parts with their bin location into the CMMS system.
- Coordinate and Schedule outside contractors for onsite services and repairs.
- Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.

What We Need From You
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Good knowledge of safety regulations. (i.e. lockout tagout, PPE etc.)
- Experience and knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, building maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Own a suitable tool box with basic tools (i.e. sockets, screwdrivers, hammer, measuring device etc,)
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple levels within the organization.
- Proficient with basic knowledge of and able to work with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Ability to receive, store, issue parts and expendable items used for repairs in maintenance or production floor.
- Ability to follow instructions and proper follow through and communication.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three plus years’ related experience in a industrial/building maintenance position.
- Experience with E-maint CMMS system.
- Demonstrated ability to source parts, equipment, and supplies/tools.
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Proficient with advanced features of Microsoft Office software products (Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint).
