Facilities Maintenance Technician Pay: $21.00–$26.25/hour (Based on Experience) Shifts Available: 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed) 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Overtime as needed) Weekend Shift: Saturday–Monday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime as needed) Schedule Flexibility Required: Candidates must be available to work assigned shifts and overtime based on business needs. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced distribution and warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining facility equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the building and equipment remain safe and operational. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and contributing to a safe and efficient workplace. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on facility equipment and material handling systems Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems Diagnose equipment failures and complete timely repairs Operate material handling equipment as needed to perform maintenance tasks Respond to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work area Participate in ongoing training related to equipment, technology, and safety procedures Follow all company safety policies and maintain compliance with hazardous material handling guidelines Support production by minimizing equipment downtime Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of one year of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience Maintenance certifications are a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and basic carpentry repairs Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs Knowledge of GHS (Global Harmonized System) standards preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks Basic English proficiency preferred Why Apply?
