Job Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Technician position assists in the maintenance of Woodhill Country Club’s facilities. This includes our Clubhouse, Barn, Tennis Pro Shop, Golf Pro Shop, Pool. We ask that our team members work independently, manage their time wisely, and operate equipment safely. We expect our team members to provide an exceptional member and guest experience through quality service and impressive facilities. Requirements Expected Hours: Monday-Friday, daytime; Weekends as needed Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: Mechanical and general systems knowledge Understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems, with expertise in at least one of these trades Proven track record of strong problem-solving skills Ability to conceptually read construction, mechanical and plumbing specifications and drawings Computer proficiency Preferred Education and Experience: Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC experience preferred Trades degree in a specific technical field related to facility management is preferred Project management experience Essential Job Functions: Perform building and equipment repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability of our assets Develop and implement a maintenance schedule or appliances/equipment Coordinate and manage contractors when on site Change/clean filters, HVAC coils and ancillary equipment, plan and perform regular maintenance regime. Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs. Troubleshoot general building and facilities problems Obtain bids for maintenance projects that are outside the scope of routine maintenance, manage cost and supervision of the works to be carried out Maintain documentation and records of preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections Assist in pool start-up, maintenance, and shutdown Assist with HVAC heating / cooling changeover when required Develop an accurate five-year capital replacement/renewal plan Assist in furniture resets as needed Perform light carpentry projects including but not limited to painting, staining, and making modifications Be available for some afterhours work when/where required Always look for opportunities to keep building, infrastructure and other operational building and grounds assets in good order and always functional Work closely with buildings and grounds and sustainability teams to ensure we are minimizing waste, water and energy consumption on the site. Walking and/or standing for extended periods of time. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Work Environment: Exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Exposure to electrical systems (high and low voltage) Work in variable weather conditions. Uneven surfaces, roofing systems and other areas where significant safety protocols and care must be observed Compensation& Benefits: $27-$32/hour, depending on qualifications and experience Health, Dental, and Life/Disability insurance in accordance with Club policy.
