Responsibilities The Facilities Management Administrative Assistant assists in providing daily coordination of staff and work orders of the Facilities Management Services Department. Monitors Facilities Departmental compliance with regulatory agency standards and has knowledge and understanding of TJC standards. Responds to departmental needs and quality assurance issues. Provides support to Safety Officer and the Emergency Management Coordinator. Coordinates and manages special projects as requested such as new construction, renovations, etc. Prepares daily productivity and other department reporting. Supports all clerical and reception functions for the department. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum one year of working experience in fast paced administrative setting; experience with facility operations preferred. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS None. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES Strong organizational skills. Must be a self-starter. Proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office required. Knowledge and understanding of TJC standards, especially LS, EC, and EM. Must have excellent communication and writing skills. Typing minimum 45 wpm.
