Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Engineer with a Civil or Mechanical Engineering background to oversee maintenance operations and ensure the integrity of building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in facilities management, with strong technical knowledge of building systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on civil/mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and building fabric maintenance.
  • Proficient in using CMMS and understanding building management systems (BMS/BAS).
  • Familiarity with UAE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and contractors.
  • UAE driving license is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of civil and mechanical systems (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, drainage, building structures).
  • Conduct routine inspections to assess the condition of facilities and initiate corrective action.
  • Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors and in-house maintenance teams.
  • Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using CMMS.
  • Ensure all building systems comply with local codes and safety regulations.
  • Participate in facility upgrade and renovation projects, ensuring technical standards and timelines are met.
  • Monitor and optimize utility consumption and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and asset performance.
