Job Location: Abu dhabi (Abu dhabi experience is more preferable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced FM Engineer to oversee the delivery and maintenance of HVAC systems along with fire and safety operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in procurement documentation -LPO, BOQ, PO, quotations, bill estimation, and site supervision. Familiarity with modern architectural and interior design trends will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation, operation, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE fire safety regulations; coordinate inspections, safety drills, and system testing.
  • Prepare and review Local Purchase Orders, BOQs, and quotations.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to finalize procurement documentation accurately.
  • Conduct bill estimation for projects and maintenance based on designs and technical specifications.
  • Monitor on-site execution to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and interior designers to align facilities services with broader project scope.
  • Review architectural and interior design layouts to provide insight into MEP- Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC integration.
  • Advise design teams on efficient space utilization and system compatibility.
  • Maintain comprehensive project and equipment documentation.
  • Generate weekly/monthly status reports covering maintenance schedules, asset conditions, procurement progress, and site observations.
  • Uphold company protocols and UAE regulatory standards for occupational safety.
  • Facilitate staff training on using equipment and emergency procedures.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 3–5 years in Facilities Management, focusing on HVAC and Fire Safety systems.
  • Strong capability in preparing procurement documents (LPO, BOQ, PO, quotations).
  • Proficient in HVAC & Fire Safety Systems, Procurement Documentation, Project Supervision & Coordination, MEP coordination and health safety regulations.
  • Experience with bill estimation, cost analysis, and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
