Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in facilities management or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification such as FMP (Facility Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager).
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency practices.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff, janitors, technicians, and contractors.
  • Oversee building operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, enforce standards, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance and repair activities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate contractor performance.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and compliance documentation.
  • Support space planning and facility modifications or renovations.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Respond to emergencies and urgent maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist in budgeting, procurement, and cost control related to facility operations.
