Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities management services across a nationally recognised technology and communications portfolio based in Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Management team, you will work collaboratively with client stakeholders, contractors, landlords and BGIS colleagues to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality facilities services while supporting positive commercial and operational outcomes. This is a highly visible role that suits someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, communicating with confidence, and balancing commercial outcomes with outstanding service delivery. You'll be comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach should challenges arise. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate the delivery of contract services to meet agreed performance measures and client expectations.  * Build and maintain positive working relationships with client stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.  * Support planned and reactive maintenance activities across a diverse property portfolio.  * Coordinate subcontractor engagement, performance and compliance activities.  * Prepare budgets, forecasts and regular operational reports.  * Assist with maintenance planning through CMMS platforms and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.  * Coordinate capital works, contract variations and additional service requests.  * Foster a positive culture of safety, quality and environmental responsibility.  * Undertake regular site visits, annual inspections and portfolio reviews.  * Participate in a shared after-hours on-call roster. Education, Experience & Skills Essential * Demonstrated experience managing Facilities Management services within corporate, government, Defence, retail, or complex commercial portfolios. * Strong contract and stakeholder management experience. * Financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. * Experience managing subcontractors and maintenance service delivery. * Knowledge of CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office applications. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organisational levels. * Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset. * Understanding of WHSE legislation and compliance requirements. Desirable * Qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Business, Real Estate, Trade, or a related discipline. * Experience within large corporate campus environments. * Knowledge of sustainability, energy management, or environmental initiatives. * Experience working across geographically dispersed property portfolios. Workplace Flexibility This position is based full-time on client sites across NSW and Australia. Regular travel forms part of the role, including annual inspections and ad hoc visits across approximately 50 sites each year.  Why Join BGIS?
