Key Responsibilities: Operations & Technical Management ● Asset Lifecycle Management: Direct comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for mission-critical infrastructure, fire protection, vertical transportation (elevators), and emergency power systems (generator sets). ● Utility & Resource Optimization: Manage large-scale building utilities (electrical and water) while spearheading Energy Conservation Initiatives that reduce operational overhead. Leadership & Stakeholder Management ● Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a diverse multi-disciplinary team including housekeeping, groundskeeping, and technical maintenance to ensure seamless 24/7 operations. ● Professional Development: Mentor and coach junior facilities engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and career progression. ● Client Relations & Reporting: Serve as the primary liaison for building owners/principals, providing high-level operational reporting and managing locator relations, including utility billing and customer service excellence. Compliance, Safety & Risk Management ● Regulatory Stewardship: Ensure 100% compliance with ISO, OHSAS, and other statutory requirements (PEZA, BFP, DENR, and Local Government mandates). ● Environmental & Safety Leadership: Serve as the Pollution Control Officer and Emergency Brigade Team Leader, managing accident/incident protocols. ● Security Strategy: Develop and maintain rigorous safety and security frameworks to mitigate operational risks and ensure occupant well-being. Telco & Dark Fiber Operations ● Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee repairs and preventive maintenance for the Dark Fiber Backbone and Meet Me Rooms (MMR) to ensure 99.9% uptime. ● Connectivity Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for locators and telco companies, facilitating all connection requests and cross-connect installations. ● Revenue Management: Validate and audit connection logs to ensure accurate billing and collection of revenue shares from telco partners. Project & Financial Oversight ● Capital Project Management: Direct construction and renovation projects, including the technical evaluation of architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints. ● Fiscal Responsibility: Manage operational budgets (OPEX), contract negotiations, and financial reporting to maximize building ROI. Qualification Requirements ● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE). MBA is preferred ● Experience: 8-10 years in Facilities Management, with specific experience in Data Centers or Telco-ready buildings. ● Certifications: Licensed Engineer; Certified Pollution Control Officer (preferred). ● Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints/CAD, understanding of fiber optic splicing/testing, and financial acumen for budget management.
