What this opportunity involves: Join JLL's Property Management team in Melbourne as a Facilities Manager dedicated to managing approximately 15 industrial assets within a large portfolio. Many of these properties are strategically located around Melbourne Airport, with additional assets across the Melbourne Metropolitan area. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety whilst ensuring optimal building performance, tenant satisfaction, and cost-effective facility operations. An overview of the role: Operations & Team Management · Manage site contract teams and technical third-party service providers · Provide leadership and guidance to ensure activities are prioritised and completed efficiently · Project manage small to mid-size site projects · Participate in required forums to promote and protect JLL and client positions Client & Tenant Relations · Establish and maintain professional working relationships with Growthpoint · Deliver exceptional customer service to building tenants · Attend tenant meetings and provide regular updates on building initiatives and upgrades · Provide formal reporting and regular client updates Compliance & Safety · Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and engineering practices · Manage certification and documentation for essential services · Prepare annual Fire Safety Statements and other regulatory documentation · Implement Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety requirements · Manage contractor inductions, risk management plans, and Safe Work Method Statements · Oversee audit programs including OPS Aide, EORC Reviews, and Essential Safety Measure Audits Maintenance & Risk Management · Coordinate effective management of all property services and maintenance works · Conduct periodic building and plant inspections · Manage specialist contractors to ensure contract compliance · Maintain property due diligence programs and risk databases · Procure materials and replacement parts to minimise tenant disruption · Facilitate tender and contract documentation preparation Financial Management · Collaborate on annual property operations and capital works budgets · Monitor and update budgets quarterly · Contribute to client and corporate operational reporting Sound like you?
