About the Opportunity

As the Facility Manager, you will be the key operational lead for all FM activities on site — overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance, and supporting a safe and efficient hospital environment.

You’ll work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, provide technical and strategic advice, and lead a team of FM and trade professionals to deliver exceptional service outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading contractor performance, scheduling, supervision and quality assurance
  • Ensuring WHS compliance, inductions, risk assessments and safe work practices
  • Monitoring performance, work orders, compliance tasks and reporting
  • Preparing monthly performance reports, maintenance summaries and defect logs
  • Managing site‑level budgets, invoices, variations and procurement
  • Coordinating shutdowns, inspections and business continuity planning
  • Building strong relationships with hospital leaders and clinical teams
  • Supporting a culture of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar FM role
  • Experience in complex environments — hospital or clinical facilities highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of building services, infrastructure and maintenance delivery
  • Proven contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage risk, compliance and operational performance
  • Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving capability
  • Trade or engineering qualifications (electrical/mechanical) highly regarded
