Responsibilities Safety & Compliance: Ensure workplace safety, food safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance through risk assessments, procedures, and adherence to legislation. Operational Efficiency: Reduce engineering downtime for services, buildings, and facilities while supporting root cause failure analysis to prevent recurring issues. Contractor Management: Oversee contractors in line with company policies and legal requirements, including scheduling, performance reviews, inductions, and compliance documentation. Cost Control: Manage and control expenses for allocated accounts effectively. Engineering Support & Safety Culture: Provide engineering expertise across departments and actively promote health and safety policies to achieve KPIs and maintain an injury-free workplace. Qualifications About you Qualifications & Experience: Trades or tertiary qualifications preferred, with 2–3 years of engineering or maintenance support experience in FMCG environments. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of FMCG equipment, modern maintenance practices, SAP PM, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Cross-Functional & Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to work with diverse teams, manage contractors, and demonstrate leadership and negotiation skills. Technical Aptitude & Communication: Mechanical/electrical aptitude, basic fault-finding, computer literacy, and effective written and verbal communication. Performance & Productivity: Ability to set priorities, drive results, and communicate productively while ensuring safety and compliance.
